GP Registrars, Junior Doctors and Medical Students
The practice has been accredited as a training practice for GP Registrars. These are fully-qualified doctors training to become GP's and are likely to have a lot of experience in hospital medicine. These doctors are overseen by their GP trainer Dr. Scott-Perry.
Junior Doctors (called FY1 or FY2 doctors) also join the practice for a few months at a time. These are newly qualified doctors on attachment from Frimley Park Hospital.
Medical Students are placed with the practice from St George's, Tooting or Southampton Medical Schools. All medical students will one day be practising doctors and we feel it is an important part of their education to see patients and learn from them. You will be informed if a medical student is in attendance and if you prefer, you may ask that they are not present during your consultation.
