Practice nurse appointments are available throughout the day for minor ailments advice, immunisations, family planning and cervical smears, ear care, dressings and removal of stitches after surgery, blood pressure checks and lifestyle advice. Within the team, practice nurses with specialist interests and additional training hold a range of clinics including Well Woman, Diabetes, Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Coronary Heart Disease, Travel Health and Quit Smoking.
Healthcare Assistant:
Mrs. Karen Reid

Receptionists:
The team of receptionists will always try to help you. Please try to help us by only asking for an urgent appointment when you are sure that your condition cannot wait. Please also cancel appointments which you no longer need, or cannot attend, as this frees up valuable appointments for other patients. Emergencies are fitted in on the day, but may have to wait to see the doctor. Serious emergencies as judged by the medical team are seen as soon as possible. PLEASE TRY TO SEE THE DOCTOR WHO HAS BEEN DEALING WITH YOUR PROBLEM.
Secretaries:
The secretaries deal specifically with patient referral letters being sent from the doctors. They liaise with hospitals and many other outside agencies for the benefit of all patients.
